So I fell asleep on the couch today -- first decent sleep I've gotten in days, thanks to the coughing -- when I'm woken by a frantic pounding on my door, and my grandmother screaming my name. Get up, scramble to answer.
It's dinner time.
"I called you three or four times on your phone, I went out in the alley to call you, you didn't hear me at all?"
"No."
"Well! You must have been sound asleep!"

Sounds pretty much like something my paternal Grandpa could have done. When I stayed with him once, I wanted to sleep in, but he entered the room claiming that if he was up, I should be as well. :-p Mind you, it was about 9 a.m., not noon. *shakes head*

Grandmommie does the opposite thing. Since she stays up until midnight watching episode after episode of SVU, she doesn't understand why I don't, too. Despite the fact that I have to be up at 6 for work ...
