I Dream in Meta
Jan. 25th, 2009 09:48 amLast night I dreamed that I was writing Quantum Leap fanfic (something that I haven't done since the mid 90s). But I was phasing in and out of the character in the story, something which I suppose is an interesting metaphor: Leaping as Fix-It Fic.
And talk about a blast from the fannish past.
Once upon a time, I had a whole novel written out (handwritten, and thankfully lost to one of many moves). I was kinda obsessed with Al, mostly because Dean Stockwell is on my phonebook list.
I stopped watching rather abruptly when I realized how creepy the whole "you wake up and find your whole life's changed, and you don't even remember doing it" thing was. But now I've got the strangest urge to revisit it.
