It should have been easy.
Carla loved Lancer. The fact that he sometimes performed costumed as a woman didn't bother her. Watching the androgynous young man slipping into the persona of the beautiful young woman intrigued her. Turned her on.
When they had to go underground, it had seemed only natural for him to take the Yellow Dancer persona on a permanent basis. Live as a woman, day in and day out. Only rarely did they have the safety, the privacy, to let Lancer emerge for a few minutes.
Somewhere along the line, Carla had started to fall for Yellow.
