[03] Abortion: for or against it?
I'm pro-choice, but I think we should do what we can to reduce the necessity of abortion by TEACHING ACTUAL BIRTH CONTROL instead of this stupid absitence only crapola.
[04] Do you think the world would fail with a female president?
It's the brain that matters, not the genitalia that happens to be attatched.
[05] Do you believe in the death penalty?
In an ideal world, if we could be absolutely sure, I wouldn't have a problem with it. As it is, with convictions being overturned ... I think we need to declare a moratorium, until the system is fixed, and I think that there should be a higher standard of evidence before they're given the death penalty.
[06] Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
The "war on drugs" has cost America a ton of money, filled our prisons, expanded organized crime, and turned inner cities into war zones. I think it's time to try something different, already.
[07] Are you for or against premarital sex?
I'd like a little more of it, kthx. (Though is it really "pre-marital" if you have no intention of getting married, EVER?) Seriously, though, consenting adults should be able to do what they want.

I'm a "non-designated theist."
[09] Do you think same-sex marriage should be legalized?
Yes yes a thousand million bazillion times yes!
[10] Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
I think it sucks that people who follow procedure are getting screwed, but I think the solution is an easier immigration process, not some stupid wall on the border.
[11] A twelve-year-old girl has a baby. Should she keep it?
Really? No. Though in an ideal world (what's that?) there would be support for her family to raise it, if they agreed that that was the best solution.
[12] Should the drinking age be lowered to 18?
I think it would probably help to break up the culture of secret drinking on colleges, but I'm not 100% sure.
[13] Should the war in Iraq be called off?
We made the mess, we have an obligation to clean it up.
[14] Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
No. Ultimately, it falls under the "whose body is it, anyway" question? However, I do think that there should be some oversight to make sure that families aren't pressuring their parents to "choose" it when they weren't. Also, I think that the DEA should ease up on doctors providing pain management for end-of-life care.
[15] Do you believe in spanking your children?
Not planning on having kids but ... sometimes I REALLY wish my sister would spank her seven-year-old.
[16] Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
Let's see ... get out of debt, college tuition, maybe even down payment on a house? Everybody's got her price. (And it IS protected political speech, btw.)

Between those two? Obama. Though I apparently lack the political true-believer gene that will let me believe that he will make everything wonderful and sparkly and happy.
