December Drabbles 7/50
Boromir groaned. Everything hurt, almost as if he'd been --
He shook his head, as if he could shake the word killed out of it. He opened his eyes, and pushed himself to his feet. Looked around, but all he could see was sandy nothingness.
That was when he saw a ship sailing across a dune.
He rubbed his eyes, but it remained. So he followed it until it slid into the sea. That was when he saw a small group of people on the shore ... including a familiar face.
"Legolas -- what did you do to your hair?"
