It's a good thing he's going to be Steward, because he'll never make a sailor, Finduilas thought, seeing the tinge of green in her suitor's face. Though she had to admit, she admired the way Denethor held to his dignity, breathing deeply and keeping his eyes focused on the horizon.
It was for her, she realized, that he was enduring this. Because he wanted to share this with her.
Though she'd been out in far rougher seas, she turned to the captain. "The weather looks as if it could turn," she said. "You had better take us back into port."
