Rambly, Brain-Not-Quite-Worky Thoughts

were_lemurI'm really enjoying PotC. I'm kinda sorry I didn't get into it before, but I was scared off by a splooge of post-CotBP "Anamaria loves jack soooo much that she's willing to be his first mate forever and ever and never get her own ship.
Which just ... ugh.
Besides that fact that my only Jack!otp I can see is Jack/Pearl. (And Hector/Pearl is canon, too!)
But really, what I like about it is that (as far as I'm concerned) everybody can be paired up with anyone else, at least for the duration of a drabble. If I weren't as lazy as I am, I would be really tempted to make one of those charts with the character names horizontal and vertical and write Every Single Possible Pairing. (Except the 'cesty ones cuz that's not the way I roll.)
Umm ... yeah. Rambly self is rambly.
