Wait, WHAT?

So I was re-watching a video of Norrington's death (because I felt the need to have a good wibble) and I made the mistake of reading the comments. Including one that said "That kiss was forced. I see it as rape since Elizabeth didn't want to kiss any other man but Will ... "

I'm sorry, what?

How does "even though I love somebody else, I will kiss you because you're obviously getting ready to die for me" translate to rape?

Misusing the term like that trivializes the experience of women (and men) who were really raped.

So now instead of having a good wibble, I've got my annoyed on. Bah.
