I have a question. The "book" nearest me is mine; the origfic ms that I am working on. Does that count?
Well, why not.
From my origfic novel Unlocked (or at least that's what I'm calling it right now):

She slammed the door. Or she would have, if the thing that definitely wasn't a dog hadn't lunged for her.
