On the other hand, this pattern: http://www.butterick.com/item/B4469.htm?tab=large_sizes&page=4 may work just as fine as is. It's not quite as close-fitting as I was hoping for, but it's close. I'd still have to alter the neckline (because I can't see a Jedi showing quite that much skin*) and the sleeves, to get that whole gathered-ish look (AJMC's got some pics at http://www.rebellegion.com/jedigarb/tunicinnertunic.html) at the wrists.

*yes, I know Aayla Secura shows plenty of skin. Believe you me, nobody wants to see that much of my skin.
