Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles
Jan. 14th, 2008 10:55 pmcontinues to rock on multiple levels.
First and most obviously, of course, you have Summer Glau kicking ass, which never grows old. It is my hope that when I am a little old lady, instead of having to watch the Law & Order channel, I will be able to watch the Summer Glau Kicks Ass channel.
But beyond the SGKA factor, there's also the fact that these characters aren't perfect -- they fuck up on a regular basis. They're working with limited information, trying to make judgement calls based on a whole new world and eight-year-old data. They make mistakes.
Add that to a plot that's increasing in complexity without losing momentum, and I'm wondering how I can possibly survive until the next episode, which is a whole week away!
